Looking for something fun and educaitonal for your keiki to do on "Furlough Fridays?" We have the answer!

The Hawaii Nature Center has taken the opportunity to open its doors to school age keiki to come to the `Iao Valley campus for days spent learning in nature. Our Funtastic Fridays Program is full of fun with science based activities developed from 28 years as Hawaii's leader in environmental education. We aim to create quality enrichment activities on our 35 acres that mix homework, tutoring, nature based crafts and games, hikes, and stream play into a positive experience for island youth. Our staff of experienced educators will be supervising your keiki throughout the day of exploration and learning opportunities. These educators are CPR/First aid trained and have passion for their work with children. Let us be your positive option for the challenge of furlough days.

Your child should bring with them: school work, a lunch, water bottle, swim wear, and shoes. 

PROGRAM DATES:

1/29, 2/05, 2/12, 3/05, 3/12, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, and 5/14, 2010.

COST: $35 per day  TIME: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
